Prevent and Detect Business Identity Theft

The Oregon Secretary of State is implementing a system for electronic notification of parties when their registrations have been updated in any way. We are also implementing an address verification process for those addresses required by statute to be street addresses, instead of maildrops.

We partner with other agencies to educate businesses on the issue and ways to keep their identity information safe.
