UCC eFiling FAQ's
Things to know
The date of your filing will be given when your payment has been successfully processed.
Data will be saved to our database exactly as you type it.
Character limitations are noted on the screen.
At least one Debtor and Secured Party is required to file successfully online.
You will need a valid email address for payment processing; this is where the credit card receipt will be sent. We do not have the ability to create or provide a duplicate copy of your credit card receipt for you. This email address will ONLY be used for sending a credit card receipt to, a copy of the eFiled UCC pdf will not be automatically emailed to anyone.
You will need a valid VISA or MasterCard to file electronically.
Tips for eFiling
Collateral
There is a 4,000 character limit to what can be typed when filing online. There is a character counter provided to assist you in knowing how many characters you have typed/have left to type.
No attachments are allowed to be uploaded when filing online.
There is no spell check in place at this time.
Private information is not public record. Please DO NOT enter any personally identifiable information. This includes, but is not limited to: Social Security Numbers, Tax ID Numbers, Account Numbers, and Driver’s License Numbers.
If you need more space for Collateral or you have attachments, please submit via paper filing (mail or fax).
Optional Information
Information in this area will not be indexed in our database but is part of the stored information and will be viewable if you order a copy report or click on the image icon in an online search results page.

Payment/Store
There is only one filing per credit card transaction at this time.
Email address is a required field, as this is the ONLY way you will receive your receipt.
After payment has successfully been processed, you will be returned to the UCC Online Application where you will be provided a pdf containing the information data entered and your file number will be provided as well. You will be able to file another filing at this time if you so wish.
